In the act of mercy for our neighbour, we wish to treat a few young Poles from Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, Lithuania and Kazakhstan and a few people with some moderate disabilities, to a participation in the World Youth Day.

... We appeal to the people of good will, to organisations and institutions in Melbourne and the whole of Australia to support this program and to create the circle of cooperation. Only thanks to a wide involvement and engagement, we shall be able to implement these plans. We wish that they become a common cause in building the climate of brotherhood and community. We wish that this is an act of goodness of the Australien people and Polish community in Australia. Every form of helping another person has its value for both parties because it means a faith creating experience and the sense of participation and togetherness, and opens the gates to personal joy.

The accumulated funds from the current donors allowed us to finance the participation of four persons in the WYD.
Our pilgrim’s fund equals AUD3150 and covers: :Airfare (AUD2,600). Pilgrim’s package (AUD395): accommodation, meals and transportation in Sydney from 14 – 20 July. Insurance (under negotiation) – (approx. AUD150). We are thanking all the donors most sincerely and asking for more support.

... This is an opportunity for all of us for spiritual revival and the revival - together with our youth - of affiliation to our Church. I am therefore requesting your support for our youth in various ways so as to create an opportunity for The Holy Father to meet with the faithful of various countries and languages. In that respect, the priests and Polish community organisations will be very helpful. The greatest role in that regard however, belongs to parents and family members. I am therefore asking so much everyone for assistance and support.
